So after I get back from the gym.. I usually go at night, so I come home around 9pm, and I am just starving.. What is good to eat, or is anything good to eat?

Also what foods should I definetely be staying away from? I like to eat canned fruit, which I only buy the stuff thats in 100% juice. So generally that cuts the carbs in half. Is that bad?

I usually pound a shake after I get done with my workout. Make sure I get enough protein as soon as possible to help with muscle recovery.

    :dunno:

well like last night, i had some lemon pepper tuna (the starkist kind) and threw in some dill relish (not sweet) and a tablespoon of lemon juice..

    just ate that afterwards. :dunno:

Would the fruit be bad, due to the sugars?

Cottage Cheese is a very good night snack. It digests slowly.

lots of sugar = high blood pressure?
    if your diabetic, no sugar.

i usually down a protein shake 15min after my workout. then about another 15min after the shake, i would probably eat a meal thats decently high in protein, fat, carbs, cals:o

cottage cheese, oatmeal, whole grain carbs, tuna, chicken breast, meat, fruits/veggies, etc are good foods http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/stella9a.htm

I stay Way from Carbs and Sugars before bed time. I eat most of my carbs in the morning and stay way from them after lunch. That Tuna meal sounds good. Oh and Bannas very important really helps with craps and musle being sore.
