was doing squats yesterday and coming out of the hole i kind of hit a wall and my knee buckled in a bit.

now it hurts like a pulled a tendon or strained my MCL..

what are my options here? just quit doing legs and RICE?

rest it and RICE and probably go to the dr.
i know something similar happened to my friend (not weightlifting but his knee buckled and he thought he was fine. He tried to go and play basketball a few days later and messed up his knee worse and had to have surgery

When I tore my meniscus, I thought it was just a sprain. It kept on swelling up on me after any kinda pressure on it, so I went to the doc and got an MRI

i blew out my MCL a few years back.

a few days later its still pretty rough when squatting and picking up shit around the house. ive got a visible bruise.

if its still rough in a few days ill get it checked out

i was trying to do narrow stand squats. did i push the weight too far past my limits?

Did that with a partial tear in my ACL. My knee would buckle a bit, randomly, throughout the month before I went and got my MRI. I was lucky I didn't need surgery... anyway, my advice is stay off of it until you see a doctor.

My knee is stronger than ever.

I lost some flexibility/movement side to side in it, but that's about it.
