Shelby GT is the warmed-over Mustang GT, not the GT500.

Mod list (all ordered and delivered on the car direct from Shelby USA):
Gat DAMN that is hot.

that is sex on wheels...any hp/tq numbers?

EDIT: needs the ducktail spoiler and it would be perfect...

I ordered mine spoilerless like that car....looked great, but the ducktail I put on really improved it, IMO.

Anyways--the dude's car has the 500hp Whipple supercharger kit, I'm sure Shelby Auto International dyno-tuned it past that...probably putting down somewhere in the 450whp range.

Similar to stock GT weight of 3650. Stock GT does 0-60 anywhere from 4.9 to 5.3 seconds, depending on which magazine's dick you suck.

Shelbys don't have those. I'm sure he could have had them added w/ the list of other options he ordered, but in my opinion, they look tacky, and create blind spots. I use the rear windows on mine rather frequently when zipping around the freeways and backing out of places.

The Shelby Super Snake has the rear block-off plates standard. Saleen and Roush have the block off plates as standard-issue.

"Shelby signature rear quater window block off plates" right in the first post. I'm not saying it needs them, I'm just saying they are missing from the car is all

Quick numbers say about 50K after I talked to him via PM. I'd much rather have THAT car than a 50K GT-500, though!

a GT-500 would proly cost 10k more out the door. Plus this is lighter and looks sexier. Still a lot for a stang tho
