So I have a laptop that has a stuck pixel (stuck white), and i've just let myself get use to it.

Today I hooked up my 32" tv as a secondary monitor and for the first time I noticed that in the same spot on my laptop on my tv the pixel appeared stuck. BUT when I put the tv back to its cable input the pixel is perfectly fine.

So what the heck is going on here? my computer is projecting a stuck pixel?

Oh and I messed around with the display manager for a while and now on my tv the pixel appears black, also when I change the resolution the stuck pixel moves around as the image changes?

If you see the same problem in the BIOS screen, it's hardware. If not, it's software.
