i used to be able to right click on images and then click "open in camera raw" from the menu.

this option is now gone, even though i have not changed any preferences from within bridge 2.0 or PS CS3.

    its very aggravating.

i'd like this menu option to be back. how can i get it there?

what really makes it aggravating is when i search in bridge help for camera raw it says this:
there is nothing like that under my bridge preferences.

I get to use a new 8 core dual 3 gz mac at work.

it is a piece of shit compared to my year old pc. Macs are for dbags.

What kind of file are you trying to open? When did it start happening?

trying to open a .CR2 RAW file by clicking right click, open in camera raw. camera raw used to open within bridge. now the "open in camera raw" option is no longer there and i have to open for raw editing in PS.

started a couple weeks ago for no apparent reason. i haven't changed any settings.

something must have changed? New driver? No new updates to adobe?... let your gf touch your computer?

Usually letting any woman touch an electronic device is like bringing hitler and 400,000 SS into jerusalem.

Usability; everything about the interface frustrates me. I don't like double clicking on something and it goes down to the bottom...I don't like the bottom taskbar thing, I don't like photoshop not having a background at all times, I don't like having to go to the bottom right to resize a window (I have a 30" mac lcd + and a 24" mac lcd side by side), the open apple key/option/control just little things that I'm so not used to. Silly little things just giving me a head ache. Monitors seem to go out of color calibration really fast, about 3 days for complete change (they were perfect, spyder 2pro).

Went to 4x2gb macpro memory today, nice and quick now on the 8 core dual 3 gz. I was a little jealous when taking fat out of chicks bodies and seeing how fucking quick it the liquifly tool was working on such huge files (1ds mkII). Interface still slows me down enough to it not being a worthwhile change. Too buggy, not enough things you can easily get deep into and switch settings around, far too expensive for what you get, most mac enthusiasts are kind of chodes...but enthusiasts of any nature are chodes.

They are getting better though, especially since the introd of intel chips.

I'll probably be mac only in a year :greddy:

so these are personal issues with the cosmetics of things, not the actual machine being shit? I can understand that...the interface takes a little getting used to especially if you're hardcore windows.

In college i looked over 35 new G5s (right when the first g5 came out). I'd say 3 of them were so silly unstable they were not to be touched, 10 of them had tons of bugs, the rest were fine.

I've always built my own PCs since a wee lad, I just like being able to do things myself. My current PC has been on for multiple months at a time without issues. I would say that I would never touch a mac before the intel jazz came out, now that you can actually get inside and upgrade they are looking more appealing. I've had to use them in almost all work environments.

weird, i have a g5 and haven't had any issues with it that couldn't be easily fixed within 30 seconds.
