A&P What sort of macro shots should I take?

    I can't get close to insects, so scared :(

    Drops seem to be boring people now, what else do you recommend???

    No one I know has a bug collection, I put some honey out a few days ago no bug was attracted :(

    Helps to learn about what it is you're trying to photograph, so you know when and where to look. may just be too early in the season for butterflies.

    There was a butterfly in my house today surprisingly... I wanna go to a bug infested place i'll look around tomorrow.. do you think those glitter drops are getting old now?

    ...They've just seen a lot of them because that's what you shoot, and that's what you post. They find it boring, because the novelty has worn off. That doesn't mean they're bad or necessarily boring photos, they've just lost their pop, and the CnC's will reduce to the basic technicalities. Keep shooting them, keep posting them, keep improving.

    Awww thanks, I just realised the previous glitter drops were OOF since i've learnt how to get the DoF right I think I should shoot some more just to see :)
