A&P What size you you print your photos?

    I thought about finally printing some pics, but the problem is that I was going to have them printed at 8x10 but the problem is that that's not the proportion that the pics are so i have to crop out. wtf :o

    8X10 is for knobs, it's an unnatural ratio that suits words, not photos.

    yeah, except all photo's were in that ratio until digital came along.

    And you had to get photos developed back then and TV was 4:3. Progress is awesome.

    i haven't seen many sites that print that format

    Most professional places do. WHCC and Mpix both.

    I use MasterColor Lab in NC...they are reasonable, (though shipping is a tad pricey, imo), do great work, mounting & matting avail., lots of sizes, their website and uploader allow for user custom cropping, etc.

    They offer all kinds of sizes, eg 8x10, 8.5x11, 8x12, 10x10,, 11x14, 11x17, etc., up through 30x40 and some near pano & strange long by short horizontal sizes in between. Giclee prints and on and on. Reasonable prices, quick service. Jes' a rec'd.
