is it the real tight one, or you got some room?

    also how big are you.

    I'm 6' 190#.

    Joe Rocket Mesh/Jacket = XL
Tight in the shoulders and arms, room to move in the chest & waist.

    Alpinestars Leather = 48US/58EURO
I think I'm closer to 46/56 now, but the jacket has room to fit a back protector underneath.

Buy it a little tight, because once it breaks in it will loosen up. Last thing you want is to buy an expensive jacket and then have it be too big, negating its protective qualities.

Alpinestars, Icon and Speedrag=all large but all fit different. Adding the lining makes a big difference, a lot tighter. I'm 5'8" 150lbs.

im 6'0 180 lbs... i wear an HJC sport 2 leather jacket size 44. the 42 fits snug without the insulated liner vest.... but if i wear more than a tshirt under the jacket its too tight... so went with a 44. still pretty tight...but i have room to wear it with the insulated vest that comes with it and a thin fleece or something for when its cold outside. it depends i guess if you want it just for warm weather or if you will want to wear it in the cold too. i can only afford one jacket so i got mine a 44 instead of a 42. 80+ mphs at 45ish degrees is damn cold so im glad i can wear a fleece shirt underneath.

the factory yamaha jacket fit me a little wierd. youd half to try it out to see if you like it or not. its great jacket.. i just felt some pinching in the shoulders....i don't really know why... im not built or anything....it may have just been my structure is a little different than what it was designed to fit.

when buying a jacket though... go sit on a bike that is similar to what you are gonna ride... that way you can tell if the arms arm comfortable at your side as well as raised in handle bar position.

Back protector is coming sometime this next week.

I like the fit with this one more, much lighter & body conforming, but it also rides up a lot. :sad2:

What he said, very good tip specially if you are buying a leather jacket.
by the way Im 5-11 155lbs. and I wear size 42 Yamaha factory jacket.
also size varies from manufacture to manufacture, so best thing to do is go to a local dealer and try one on and see how it fits.
