The only sci fi I watch right now are Stargate and Stargate Atlantis and not even that much, just if they happen to be on. I like the genre but I haven't found a scifi tv show that really pulls me in, you know?

That is currently on air or still in production? The only one is Battlestar Galactica. SciFi really has died as of late.

Currently on air. I haven't checked out Battlestar Gallactica yet. But yeah, I think scifi has maybe died down.

Well that watch it :eek3:... seriously... It really is the only good SciFi show airing these days. Too bad this will be its last season.

That's actually probably a good thing. They were already running out of story ideas in the first half of season 3, when I was still watching. There's only so long you can draw out the "is he a cylon or isn't he?" storyline, and to be honest, I got really tired of "Hey, we're in a new place - oh no, here come the cylons!" all the time.

The main storyline doesn't seem to lend itself to season after season of new story. Keep in mind that the original show only went 2 seasons before they had to find earth and make Galactica 1980. :mamoru:

And there are 5 shows I watch regularly when they're on:

    Monday: Heroes
    Tuesday: Eureka (currently between seasons)
Wednesday: Lost (probably between seasons forever. This show is Sopranos-like in its delay between seasons)
Thursday: Smallville (I also download and watch My Name Is Earl)
    Friday: Stargate:Atlantis

All the really great shows are out of production: Farscape, Stargate:SG-1, Babylon 5, Star Trek:big grin:eep Space Nine, Lexx...

If you want to get absorbed into a really great show, try one of those.

Also, I haven't seen but a couple episodes, but Dr. Who looks good, Bionic Woman didn't hook me but didn't suck, either, and Flash Gordon looks like it might be worth checking out.

I saw an episode of Dr. Who, the new series. It had a rather interesting plot. There's a virus going around infecting anyone like a zombie and it makes them have a gasmask face and say "mom" all the time. They had to find the original "zombie" which was a little kid who lost his mommy and was wearing a gas mask at the time he was turned.

Flash Gordon looks similar in style to Stargate, but maybe that's just a trend and not Flash Gordon's fault. Like it looks like they use the same sets, props and clothes.

oh, and I haven't seen Lost yet

BSG and LOST are the only shows I really follow.
