Not a multi-tool, just a blade for cutting things open. Not for skinning animals and hunting necessarily, just for day to day things

Im happy with just about any ordinary pocket knife made by a good company for everyday things. I currently carry around a Schrade IHEA edition staglon pocket knife.
Althoguh I did use to carry around my Benchmade. I like it cuz its razor sharp and it opens in much less than a flick of the wrist.

It really depends on you. Ill go into a store looking for a knife, and if I dont see anything that I like or I dont like it, I dont get it.

For instance I went to Sports Auth. and noticed a Benchmade 940 for sale. I asked to handle it, and instantly knew I was gonna like it. It opens up so easily with the release button that you can literally just hold it upside down and turn your hand over. Plus it is razor sharp. So I had no problem paying $130 for it

Some pics of some of my knives:
Schrade IHEA edition pocket knife About $20
    Benchmade 440 C fixed blade $80
    Puma Bowie about $120
    Benchmade 940 pocket knife $130
    Gerber Gator $25

This one is my prized posession :mamoru:

I like the Gator for camping and when Im working on a PROJECT involving tools and wood
I carry around the little Schrade most of the time and use it for boxes and anything
I carry around the Benchmade pocket knife every now and then
Ive brought the bowie of camping trips where theres more animals like wolves and stuff
Fixed blade I havent really found a use for. I guess it could be used for quick access self defense :dunno:
