    Whatsup guys,

Ok so I recently tore my rotator cuff, and I can't lift for a while, but I still want to get as much fat off before the end of august.

So what I do now is I sit on the bike for an hour, I put it on heavy moderate intensity and I bike for an hour at around 80-75 RPM range.( I know every bike is different but i hope that gives you a general idea)

So what should my diet look like? Because we all know diet is the most important part.

Also would it be ok if I did 2 1-hour session per day?

1 in the morning and 1 at night?

    Minus whale.

Check the Nutrition EDU. I think it got moved to the archives. Lots of good info in there.

Whether you are doing long slow cardio or HIIT, your be eating less than you expend if you want to lose weight, basically.

What is your diet like now? First step is to start tracking it.

This cardio session you listed, has NOTHING to do with your diet you want. What does is your GOALS.

You want to lose 'fat' before august, well thats pretty vague. How much do you weigh now? Body fat? What is your current caloric intake?

you can ride that bike till your blue in the face if you're not eating right it means shit.

I know what to eat, but would I still be using the .85 formula or would that number change since I'm not lifting heavy?

Well I really have no choice, I can't lift with my shoulder [IMG]

I did check the EDU, but I just wanted to make sure if that still applies even if you're not lifting.

exactly why I made this thread :)

I haven't tracked what I eat in a long time... but I just used to eat whatever I wanted, but I made sure to keep it somewhat clean aka no junk food.

    I would still eat bread/pasta/rice.

My goal is to drop as much bodyfat as I can, as quick as I can, naturally.
