What should my daily percentage of protein be?

    I just started taking a nutrition course, and it says it should only go up to 35% in a day. Now, I know I should be at least taking 1g per lb of body weight. But my totals are sometimes like 45% protein, 30% fat, 35% carbs. Is that bad?!?!?!?!?

    you shouldn't go by percentages
