Here is the sled I'm selling
    http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=2001607

Here's what I have on my list of possibilities so far:
    C4 Vette
    LT1 Trans Am Vert
    LS1 Trans Am Vert

I'll be looking for something already modded. I really prefer a vert, but if the right targa or t-top car comes along I'd probably buy it. Whatever I get must be RWD V8. Looking to keep it around $12k or less.

They're not "fast" stock, but I won't be leaving my new toy stock

I've also been kicking around the idea of saving some more $ & getting a 94+ TT Supra, but I may not even like them. I've never sat in or driven one

No offense to C4 owners but that is the last car on the list that I would buy. I think the best thing would be an LS1 TA if you can find one for the money you are willing to spend.

    There are bolt-on LS1 f-bodies running 12s. :bigthumb:

I've driven a few and just don't like them. The styling doesn't really do anything for me and the power was less than impressive except for the ZR1 that I drove.

I'm not big in IRS cars either, I like solid axles.

Stock power is a moot point for me. I'm going to heavily modify whatever car I buy if it's not already.

That's why I made the comment about bolt-on LS1 cars. It's really easy to get great performance out of them, especially if you get an automatic and throw a converter in it. :naughty:

Autos are better for drag racing. I don't care how good you are, you can't outshift a computer. Plus a converter makes a huge improvement in quarter mile times.

    PS - I have a 6-speed. :bigthumb:
