I've noticed that I don't always have that tight feeling in my major muscle groups. I'm not all blown out tired after a workout anymore. Should I feel blown up after i work out each day, or is that just part of my body adjusting?

I have changed up the workout a bit, and doing the same old 5 sets of 8 reps, not lifting to failure, but close. Any thoughts? Do I need to add more sets, or more variety?

What if I smoke speed. Seriously...do I need to up sets, or change up the workout. I must get bigger. Do I have to start pinning or something?

a friend of mine who studied sports medicine/weightlifting in college(forgot technical name, basically studied to become a nurse/trainer/therapist type person) once told me that if i ever felt like i plateau'd to switch up my routine. also to avoid plateau'ing about every 3 months to reverse my workouts, first workout last, last workout first kind of thing.

whether this has any truth :dunno:

You need to have measurable indicators to monitor progress. For a bodybuilder these would be your weight, body measurements, and skinfolds.

well you have to remember that as you get heavier, the amount of calories it's going to take to gain weight increases
