What should I expect realistically for my 17" Powerbook when I sell it?

I'm not going to sell it soon, will be more like X-mas when I decide to buy myself a new toy (and a good time to sell around the holidays). I figure I'll hit the christmas shoppers up when I am ready to sell it.

I have pics and info here: http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d5/audiogodz1/

that was a while back when I put that in there, so the updates are done and it's running a newer version than the screen shot says. It's has 10.4.7 currently.

So what do you think it should sell for around X-mas? Hinges are tight, no scratches at all. Looks new.

Well its a no fuckin brainer isn't it? The way to see the market value is to look on ebay. Average the prices.

things you can do to get more respect:

    1) get an av / sub
    2) don't post dumb questions / replies
    3) older reg date
    4) :dunno:

I give you $10,000 for it. However my bank wont let me do overseas transactions so if you send me the Powerbook and $100, I send the cash to you.

    Thank you.

    I don't give a rat's ass about an avatar, nor anyone's respect.

I've been on the net since 98 and sub admin multiple forums. I came here because I saw mac users and I GENERALLY like talking to MOST of them.

Ebay is not even remotely close to a reliable source because someone with 2 feedback will bring 30% less than someone with good FB. Each machine is loaded differently and the list goes on and on.

So what do I do... I ask for YOUR opinion. If I can find that on ebay, then and only then is the thread pointless.

icyhot you're a newb compared to some of my forum registration dates, guy. ;)

We can get off on a good foot, or you can kiss my azz..... you're choice:) I'm good either way.

..........but i'm generally a nice guy.

if you will ask anywhere remotely close to what a 15" MBP costs, i will laugh. i don't care what software it has, i don't care if it's 17 inches... the technology in those things is outdated for the most part.

i thought the most humorous part of this post was "icyhot you're a newb compared to some of my forum registration dates, guy. ;)" as he obviously is unaware that it holds no meaning on OT at all.
