so, my original macbook battery was showing 70% for a while. then i didn't let it charge for a couple of weeks. now i get the message that its not charging and needs to be replaced

i guess just bring it to a battery recycling place like bestbuy or my local recycling center?

i wish it wasn't so dangerous, otherwise i'd open it up and use it for a project

if your neighbor has a well, put it in it

on a real note though, take it to a local home depot. most of them have battery disposal, and even if they don't just leave it in a cart in the parking lot (close to the door) and they will dispose of it with all the haz-mat stuff (i worked there during college and people would leave tons of shit and we HAD to dispose of it this way)
