Never had an internet deal go sour on me. I asked the mod of the Yard Sale Forum to do something but I'm stil lwaiting for a response.

I sent the guy a cashier's check on the Oct28 and I have not received anyhting nor has he responded to my PMs for the past weeks. It's pretty hard to piss me off and this has done it. $150 means a lot to you and its hard to come by money. I want my money back now that I got a 7336.

I'm not sure OT can really do anything but you may also want to mention this on Autopia in the feedback forum. Get it out to as many people as possible that this guy is a thief.

    Autopia, Scott

Where as this forum could care less, autopia community told me what I should because I'm absoloutely clueless. It was either asking the internet or telling my parents I lost $150 of my money and the belt starts hitting me.

It makes me feel better and I'm very confident that I will get my money back or atleast I ruined some guy's life.

I would have told you what to do... but I've never been in that situation before...

my first guess: if you sent a cheque by mail, call the FBI, cause that's mail fraud. If he's out of state, that would also be interstate commerce.... and that would be FBI jurisdiction as well

But, you have to realize that I'm Canadian... so I'm not perfectly fluent in Illinois State Law...

It's not that OT doesn't  you, it's that not all of us actually know what to do.
