seriously, p22 and a 10/22, and then buy a can. there's a guy selling .22lr suppressors for 95 bucks over on arf.com. can't beat that. shooting in your house w/ a p22 ftw.

I've got an AR, and i'm trying to decide if I want to get a swanky 10/22 or a CZ V-22 .22lr upper for the AR. If i get the new upper i'm afraid i'll buy a lower to go with it :o

    :roflw:

The only reason I haven't bought a different upper is because i'm afraid that i'll buy a new lower :wtc:.

that's what i thought too. "i already have 1, and i've always wanted a precision AR, i'll just buy the 24" upper"

2 months later "hello, i'd like to order one of your RRA stripped lowers"

Ya already have a pistol and its better than the P22. Nothing wrong with the P22, but for what it is...make that your 5th or 6th or 10th purchase.

Get one of the two long arms instead, your choice if the AR or the 10/22 will be more fun. 10/22 be cheaper to shoot, so consider that.

My vote would be the AR.

    p22 and 10/22

you can't beat a .22 in terms of general usefulness and improving your marksmanship.

I disagree with that. A good self loading .22 is great all around. Its cheap to feed, so you'll shoot it more and repetition (of correct procedure, of course) is the key to getting better at anything.

The AR is strictly for fun. If anything, thats what should be "your 5th or 6th or 10th purchase".
