I've been slacking off on my training... just been doing a lot of pushups lately.
but yeah... my physical condition is the only thing holding me back from going.
so i'm looking for the bare minimum in pushups, pullups, running, etc.
so i can get my ass over there asap.

    thanks.

For a 22 year old, you will be able to do this by the time you complete your AIT:
    pushups: 40 in 2 minutes
    situps: 50 in 2 minutes
    2-mile run: in 16:36

No matter how good or bad you are at pushups and situps, focus on doing them in perfect form. The Army will get you to where you need to be, but it will be much easier if you already have the proper muscle memory.

Besides, your Drill Sgts will scream at you much less if your form is good. :mamoru:

to get into basic i think it's like 13 pushups, 17 situps and 1 mile in 8:30... i wouldn't worry about that. the army will take care of you in basic. 35 pushups in 2 minutes will be cake after the smokings
