I plan on running like three computers and an xbox off the airport when I am in my house at college. Do you think it will be able to handle it? How is it as a wireless modem rather than using it for airtunes purposes? Obviosuly, I'm going to secure the network, but I want to know if we should buy a seperate wireless router and I would just by the AE for my room.

the AE works perfectly as your primary wirelss router. i'm using one as mine and have no complaints. i never connect to my old linksys wifi router any more, though i do leave it running for back-up. i even through the AE in my suitcase when i travel now so i have some protection when i'm on hotel connections, etc.

I don't think you will need to buy a separate wireless router. I use AE as main wireless router but I use it for only one (and sometimes two) computer.

I think my wireless network is quite secure. My friend brought his laptop to my house and tried to get onto the Internet...and he couldn't.
