I don't like the Leupold that's on it now because of the Boon and Crockett reticle. It's 3-9x40. It'll probably be moved to a different rifle. I can't figure out what I want to put on it. Plan to spend around $800-$1000.

depends on what kind magnification, objective, and other options you want.

I keep hearing great things about Zeiss Conquests, but I don't have the money or rifle for one right now so I can't really say :dunno:

I like Burris, but I always hate paying too much for glass. I would rather buy more guns.

Yeah, they've switched to Schmidt and Bender 4x12 I believe, first time they've ever had a variable power scope.

    I have a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50MM LR\T on my 700P and a Mark 4 6.5-20X50 LR\T (illuminated) on my M1A Super Match. I have never had a problem with Leupold.

If you don't like the reticle on yours, why not send it to them to replace it?

it sucks Precison Reticle doesn't do consumer work anymore, they offered 10x the reticles Leupold does, plus they could change your magnification if need be.

Becausee I'd rather just put it on a different gun and get a new toy;)
    I had been thinking about a Mark 4 LR/T.

    Thanks for all the opinions.

edit: I'm liking the US optics too though:run:
