    STAY AWAY FROM MITCHELL MAUSERS!

They are a horrible outfit trying to pass of post war M48's as "wartime pieces" They are a shady company and they rip off a lot of naive surplus collectors.

If you want an affordable K98k Mauser, I'd highly suggest you look at a Russian Capture K98. While they may be part guns, many still have original codes and waffenampts. Letter Coded RC's are going for about $200 and S coded ones are selling for about $220

    I purchased my S-coded RC from http://www.interordnance.com/

Well I'll assume you don't want any class 3 stuff right now so...

Numerous k98 variants, G-41M, G-41W, G/K43s, and then you have the super late Volksturm rifles.
    $120-$25kish

    K98, G43/K43, G41, some captured SVT-40s, STG-44, also some anti tank rifles...

but as stated, anywhere from 120 bucks to several thousand.

k98k - can find as low as $100, and then up to a few thousand for rare varients like the folding stock

g43 - as low as $1000, and up to many thousands for a scoped version, all matching etc

stg44 - ive only seen one for sale, it was $12000

mp40 - while not a rifle, its still cool. I had a friend tell me he may sell his, starting at around $17500, since thats what hes seen em at before

g33/40 - never seen one for sale, its just a shortened k98, but they are probably not much, maybe 300-500 at my best guess

thats about all the common rifles i can think of at this moment.

EDIT: forgot the mgs, ive seen an all original mg42 for... $20000 i belive it was, but you can get them much cheaper than that if you go for a kit gun that you make semi auto... probably around 5g's for an mg34

A G33/40 is going for a lot more than $500. Usually the $1200 range for a so so rifle.

If you want an MP-40 and just wann shoot it. Buy a cheap transferrable tube gun.
