working out is easy; thats an hour or two a day, 3 to 6 days a week for most people

diet is almost 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Diet with the planing, buying, cleaning, freezing, thawing, preparing cooking, cleaning, eating, packing, avoiding temptation; is way more difficult.

Was going to say the same thing. I love going to the gym. Can't say the same about meal planning/prep.

:werd: to all this. Training is one of the best parts of my day, dieting is a constant drag except knowing that it's for a good cause.

the real gym success stories arnt the guys who know some super magical form difference or train extra hard, they are the ones who get all the proper meals in and can bulk and or cut cleanly.

90% of people who ask you what "routine you do" and arnt getting any gains dont eat properly in the slightest

if you suggest eat more the common reply is "i already eat heaps"
"well eat another 2 meals a day"
"but thats so expensive and hard"

i have never really dieted down

keeping that in mind... in my experience it is more effort to hit the gym consistently than to eat tons of food. neither are very hard though. i would imagine that contest dieting would be much more difficult than the workouts

I see i am in the majority here.

gym for me: fuck yeah, get to go throw around some weights, listen to loud music on my ipod, work up a sweat and get that good "i accomplished something" feeling going

diet for me: 2 more fucking hours until I can eat my 3 ounces of meat?
