What is your take on synthetics & Non-Synthetics. I’m riding a ninja 500R in Austin Tx. So its going to get hot in the summer time 95+.

Is there any type of oil filter out there that is superior to the rest. I know my bike isn’t the top of the line. But I would like to keep it running with the best.

Mobil1 5w-30 may not be the best choice for a wet clutch bike. It contains EC additives that dont agree with wet clutches. the 15w-50 weight is what I run, and in the winter I run Amsoil Formula-4 stroke 0w-40. I might switch to 0w-40 year round.

I run Redline two stroke racing oil in all my two strokes. They wear out about 5 times faster with non synthetic oil.
