How much protein do you get in the form of shakes/bars/meal replacements etc...?

    For me, it's about half.

    Mine is about 25%.

I generally take in 200-240g's and from that 50-75 is usually from shakes or bars.

Unless you're cutting, I would say half is too much.
When I cut down though, I get about 50% from whey. Only because that makes it SOOO much easier to hit 200g+ on an 1800 cal diet.

I wanna trim bodyfat, so I'm consuming a lot of protein in replacement of carbs. My overall muscle mass sucks, but I've had a "potbelly" my whole life. I want this motherfucker gone. I've been busting serious ass on the treadmill and ab bench lately, and trying to consume 100+ grams of natural foods has been a bitch. I want to do it, and I'm working my way towards it, but for now, a 50g shake and a 30g bar make it easy... No red meat since the beginning of the year, mainly chicken and salmon as natural protein sources...

What does your diet look like?

Getting 100g of protein naturally (from food) while maintaining a good diet shouldn't be that hard.

Also, watch out for those bars. They are typically loaded with sugar/fructose/carbs/and fat. There are actually very few protein bars that are decent for you.

LBM cannot be gained if you're basically starving yourself and a majority of diet and cals is coming from whey.

Labrada Gold Lean Body Bars. 23g carbs, 30g protein, 10g fat. The best tasting/high protein bars I can find. At most, only one a day, the rest of my protein is from one shake, and mainly tuna/chicken.

20% total? Judging by your post you've had too much to drink or you've given up on English for awhile.
