Hell work is more exciting than this bullshit.

I pass out panflips to recruit new male porn actors who pay me cash to register then get $2000 to do a scene

i dont understand why a game like burnout can understand how to realistically damage a car but Forza and GT fail at this?

    [y]Osm_i_Dnkdo[/y]

clearly the driving physics are exaggerated but when i hit the wall at 100mph+ in any game i expect it to look like 1:20 into that video, not a diecast model car rolling on carpet....

Trolling aside any actual car manufacturer has stipulations on what can be displayed as far as damage goes in a production vehicle. Even if they have varying degrees of what is allowed Polyphony and Turn 10 have to go with the lowest common denominator with regards to damage.

I can guarantee that licensing agreements with the manufacturers under no circumstances would ever allow simulated crash damage that encroaches on the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

i understand from a political angle but not from a technical angle.

the argument that car manufactures dont want to see there cars misrepresented in the game so people will assume thats how their real car works is a flawed argument when you take in games like GRID and NFS, even Forza has extensive damage almost all of those cars are being misrepresented. so if its a all or nothing kind of deal why does forza have half ass damage then? because its not. kaz said that the final damage engine for GT5 will be very robust and you will be able to end a race after 1 crash which is cool... if it actually happens.

the point was that if criterion can produce tech like that on fake cars and forza can get away with rolling cars over like diecast cars why couldn't they just use burnout tech, maybe not over exaggerated like that but same concept?

    :dunno:
