I was talking to friend about it and we are thinking all the niches are just over populated. Thoughts?

I didn't mean that list was niches that are under populated, simply a list of niches I found.

And not to sound like a jackass, but if we knew what niches were underpopulated we'd all have huge revenue generating websites.

yeah a starcraft2 thing is def a good idea, just copy all the guild/layouts from the starcraft 1, then write everything up, so that when the game releases, you can have the complete guide from day 1 and get that market share

lol, I've been meaning to make a startcraft2 site for a while now. I have some domains but just been too swamped with other stuff. But I actually wanted to build something more because SC was one of my favorite all time games and I am actually excited about SC2 lol.

As for niches, it's true that most are already over populated. Most anything that has been proven to be worth the time and effort will usually already have more than enough people trying to capitalize on it. But that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of money to be made in niches that have tons of competition. It just comes down to who does it better and has better tactics and those are the ones that get a bigger cut of the pie.

Also, although most niches are saturated, most will have "sub niches" that you can hone in on to target more direct users and such.

Ringtone affiliate stuff is an example of a huge niche that has a gazillion people trying to make money off it and still something you can cut a piece out for yourself.
