Before baseball season, I always watch "Major League" & "Field of Dreams".

Before hunting season, I watch "Jeremiah Johnson".

My annual Christmas movies are "Christmas Vacation" & "A Christmas Story".

    "I double dog dare you."

"Christmas Story," without fail. Filmed in my hometown. Never gets old. They used to run the original King Kong every Thanksgiving on the local UHF channel back in the day, and I never missed it.

I watch The Big Lebowski every week. I probably watch When Harry Met Sally, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Shawshank Redemption every month. Pretty much everything from my top 50~ I'll watch at least once a year.

    Out here, on the parameter...
Christmas Story for sure... I don't necessarily watch them every year, but I do watch whenever they're on:

    Goodfellas
    A Few Good Men
    Casino
    Blow
    Pulp Fiction
Godfather I or II, but not III
    Fast Times at Ridgemont High
    Breakfast Club

My favorite movie of all time might be "Smokey and the Bandit"... I think a modern remake would be a hit!
Maybe Johnny Knoxville runs police interference in a Ferrari, while Larry the Cable Guy hauls a truckload of cheap prescriptions back across the border from Canada.
    Hilarity ensues... :)

Lately it's been Tarantino's directed movies, from "Reservoir Dogs" to "Kill Bill"

Plus a few oddball favorites, like "Cold Turkey" and "What's Up, Doc"

Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Bad Santa around the Holidays.

Also, before Christmas, I like to watch all of the Star Wars movies, and every other year or so I watch the Lord Of The Rings and Matrix movies.

Every October, I alternate between watching all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and the Friday the 13th movies.

Also, on Halloween...gotta watch Halloween. Every year.

Definitely Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story during the holidays. Trains Planes and Automobiles for Thanksgiving. I usually watch the Band of Brothers series around holidays as well (not a movie, who cares). Matrix movies usually in the summer.

Every time Jaws is on TV I stay with it, even though I've seen it a million times. At least if they're already out on the boat when I channel surf onto it, then I'll stay on til the end.

if only by default, i think everyone watches a christmas story, the shawshank redemption and a couple of the starwars(and maybe t2 if you have movie channels) every year simply because they are played so much.

only the shawshank redemption is worth watching that many times and i love it the same every time .
