I recently bought a Nikon FM10 and all I have is the 35-70mm Nikkor lens.
...I've gotten use to it and I would like to start taking shots of small animals without scaring them..and other things that require a zoom lens.
I've been to walmart and circuit city and they have I believe a 70-200mm for $170-200.

I'm not wanting to spend that much (pooooooor college student). Also, I don't believe they would work with my camera?
The ones at walmart and circuit city don't seem to have an aperture opening near the base like my 35mm lens does. The only options seem to be zoom and focus on the lens.
I may be wrong.I'm not sure.

Are they decent cheap lenses that I could pick up on ebay?
    Any recommendations?

I wish I would have never wasted time playing with that silly 2.1mp camera :(
    This thing is great!

skip ebay for buying used glass for nikon fd mount camera's, cause u never know if its gonna function properly or if there is fungus in it.

for good quality used gear w/ a warrenty, go to www.keh.com

most likely, the ones at walmart won't work with your camera...

local camera shops might have good deals too..
