I recently noticed how much my side delts are lagging in comparison to my front/rear delts, traps, and arms.

    Here's what I do:

    Standing BB military press
    Lateral raises
    Push press
    Seated DB arnold press
    BB shrugs
    DB shrugs

    Ideas?

iron cross or crucifix is really awesome!

I can hold a 10 lbs weight in each hand for 1.5 minutes- quite hard actually!

iron cross is so much fun

I feel like such a pussy doing it with like 20s for a minute at a time compared to the strongmen standing with 60s :wtc:

my favorite thing to do for shoulders is a raise complex:
    1. rear raise x10-15
    2. side raise x10-15
    3. front raise x10-15

    no rest in between

leaning side raises are good, too.

Only shoulder stuff I ever do is military press, rear delt flys and facepulls. I feel like I should do more, but am lazy.

for a couple weeks i did this:
    3 sets seated db press
    3 sets standing bb press
    3 sets front raises
    3 sets lat raises
    3 sets of iron cross
3 sets of rear delt work (rev fly)
    3 sets bb shrugs
    3 sets db shrugs
    3 set hammer strength press

before people cry about cns and all that internet crap, it works for me and i have enough energy to do it.

on a side note: I fucking cannnot stand arnold presses

my left cuff clicks and pops when I try to do them so I stick with movements that don't require you to become a contortionist

    I'll quote Justin Harris:

"I don't really like front raises and the like. What's going to get you bigger shoulders? A 300 pound military press or a 30 pound front raise?"

It seems that arnold presses cause alot more injuries than they're worth.

Do your heavy presses first, then based on your composition do some isolation stuff. Whatever needs work most ie: rear delts or lateral delts. Do not overcomplicate it and try NOT to focus on one area of your body.

Be careful with those and don't try to go really heavy. My doctor and good friend of the family calls those the "Putting your doctors kid through college" machines. Being the head team doctor for the Timberwolves, Vikings, Wild, Lynx, and US Olympic team, I follow his advise on that kinda stuff.

I don't use machines for rotator work unless you count the cables. I go for 15-20 reps and a complete ROM for them as much as possible.
