i went to safeway and got a cup of quaker instant oatmeal epress (cinnamon roll flavor) for a buck. tatse pretty damn good.

also, would it be better to eat oats/oatmeal pre or post workout?

microwave oatmeal, brown sugar flavor. Does not have that much more sugar than the plain version

the one on the left, with some honey, or just plain. best stuff out there. the stuff in packets isn't that great. all you need is 100% rolled oats

The instant flavored stuff is crap; too much sugar.

Get regular rolled oats or instant oats- if you want them sweet, add splenda or nutrasweet. I usually have a scoop of protein powder in mine.

I was over at my parents the other day and one of the things I do is look in their pantries and fridge(got to see what she is experimenting with for dishes) and I actually found half of a container of steel cut oats. About hit the floor I was laughing so hard. She swears by it and actually told me a cheaper place to buy it at then where I have been buying it.

No warning signs yet on the sc roid rage. She still weighs about 90lbs and still is pretty passive.

Besides the cops won't raid a 50 year old woman by the time the media has it she was just buying it to prevent against bone loss and her habit was not hurting anyone. My house I have it hidden really well. In my neighbor's RV in his backyard. This way he gets busted not me.

Find the health section of your grocery store (or a health food store), they should have bulk oats there. I just got 4-5 pounds for $.95 a pound. I grind them up and put it in my protein shakes. Yum!
