Mine just broke, got water inside of it. Ive been looking at the Creative MuVo Micro N200 512 MB MP3 Player :dunno: It's 512mb which is more than enough, and its only $60, anyone have this or can recommend me a cheap MP3 player for the gym ?

What is your price range you're lookin' at?

I'd say it's worth it to invest some extra bucks to pick up the iPod mini. Especially since they added 2GB to the 4GB model and lowered the price. I couldn't be happier with my 6GB mini. I've dropped it a couple of times but the hard metal casing protected it nicely. It didn't even stop playin' the song. :eek3:

I never thought I'd buy an MP3 player with more than 1GB of memory, but when the mini was priced at a lil' over $200 a year ago I was sold. I like the option of bein' able to pack it with a lot of music for long trips on an airplane and what not, which I've had to do. Though I usually only keep 500-600 songs on it at a time. Mostly gym type songs. Songs that will get me pumped.

    Creative Muvo TxFm

256mb is plenty for 3 albums
    USB just pops in
    smaller than a bic lighter
    easy buttons to use
runs on 1 AAA for 15 hours
    FM Radio
    Record FM Radio
    Record Voice
Runs as a removable harddrive, so there's no gay software
    sound is great quality

you can get the 512mb version on amazon for <$95

Yeah, if you want to keep it simple you could just get the iPod shuffle. My work out buddy has one and it's VERY simple to use and has no LED screen to mess up. Perfect for gym use or other physical activities.

the muvo is extremely light, and extremely esy to usde, drag and drop, the ipod has the shitty i tunes interface, and i dont even think you can pick songs on the shuffle. Ipod=great for car muvo=great for gym

You don't need some stupid program to put files on it either...its done in the file tree format just like regular ass windows. You can also create m3u's on whatever program you like, and just dump those into the playlist dir. They make some older players too that are much cheaper, but many use regular batteries.

Cowon is kinda like the company who makes products for people who know how to use computers.

The Muvo has pretty horrible reviews, like out of the 20 reviews i read, 8 or so people had the thing fail after 6 months. Im now lookin at the Samsung YP-MT6V
