I think I'm gonna mod up my keyboard so Final Cut Pro will be even speedier.

    My mouse is pretty simple:

I had a Kensington slim keyboard for a while because I liked the low profile and the smooth click of the laptop style keys. But for shortcuts in programs it's a PITA since all the keys are flat it was hard to know which one you were on sometimes (plus it had 2 CTRL keys). So I switched back to my standard Mac one which needs to be greased or something since they keys feel chunky & stick. Probably from the last time I pulled it apart and cleaned it.

My mouse is a Logitech LX7 which is really comfortable since I hate the fat, back heavy other mice.

I've got the Apple Bluetooth Wireless keyboard. I love it, very responsive and no lag, plus it gets good battery life.

Mouse is a Microsoft Intelimouse Explorer 3.0. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used, but I really want a BLUETOOTH mouse. I don't want a USB dongle sticking out of my Macbook Pro, however I can't seem to find any Bluetooth mice that I like and are comfortable so I'm stuck with wires.

Have you tried some of these? I've got an older model one and it's pretty comfortable and works perfect with the MacBook Pro.

I have my built-in KB/Trackpad with the MBP, but for my Vista PC (heh, gaming) I have a Logitech G5 mouse and my Dell slimline KB should be here next week. We use them at work, I like that it's not overall bulky and the key presses are nice.

I don't like the kensington mice. All of them are like blobs, at the very least I want it to be shaped for a right handed person, like mine or some of the logitechs.

Would you sell that mouse? Is it bluetooth, or do you have the USB dongle?
It looks really close to the shape of my mouse, and pretty comfortable.

i have the usb thing but the keyboard + mouse use the same one.... so if you think you can get the mouse to work, ill be glad to sell it.

i can confirm that its realllllly comfortable, and i used it for a little bit so i know its really smooth, but i like using the mouse in my left hand :(

Heh, it seems like they don't sell just that mouse :ugh:
The color doesn't matter, I can't find it anywhere. I'm going to see if I can get another USB dongle. When you bought it did you have to sync it all or anything?

yea they only sell the keyboard/mouse as a kit... i looked and looked and looked for just the keyboard then i finally just broke down and bought the set. there is a black one thats the same looking laser mouse that sells for 49 or 59 bux. so thats an option.

Yeah, I found it, its the MX 610.

But of course, it says it doesn't work with Macintosh, only PC :wtf: :greddy:

I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if I can buy a dongle because "I still want to use the keyboard but I bought an MX Revolution (thier 100 dollar mouse :ugh: ) and I want to give the other mouse to my brother" :big grin:

btw, if you want to use the same mouse, they DO sell a left handed version
    http://www.ciao.co.uk/Logitech_MX_Mouse__6462401

Might be worth it to give them a ring and see if you can do some sort of exchange?

well, i emailed Logitech support, and they gave me the sales phone number, i called them and they said they "Never ever" sell the reciever separate from the set. The mouse with my set is also the MX 600, so i asked what about the reciever for that mouse, she said No.

so this mouse will just rot in my closet i guess.

I hate electronic companies other than Apple, and the xbox 360 support is really good too :big grin:.

Did you ask about a left handed mouse or exchange?

i asked, she said no. essentially it was a total waste of time. :hsd:

though now that you pointed out the left handed mx610, i may buy that. if that mouse works with my current reciever, it may be for sale.
