what kind of intel motherboard should i get?

    i need a new board and i dunno if i want to go w/ asus or msi anymore. Are Intels really worth the price?

    i don't know which one i should get since they seem so similar

    i have a 3.2E ghz intel prescott cpu

    don't need onboard video

    you will never regret buying an intel branded mobo IMO. Rock solid stable. The only feature that I think they still don't allow is overclocking.

    Intel is perhaps the only company that can read and implement a spec properly on a motherboard. Maybe its because they wrote most of them to begin with. The result is a very stable, very compatible board.

    socket 478. there are so many that i dunno which one to get.

    Look for an Intel 865P (Not G since you don't need graphics) or 875 board, those are the ones that will be best :bigthumb:

    i don't want micro atx.. looks kinda weak. What are the diff between the 865 and 875 on the northbridge.

    PAT a slightly faster memory tuning basically. 875's are the best of the speedbinned parts, with 865's passing at a slower level.
