My roomate often goes to bed early and I refuse to turn my music down so i decided to get me some headphones i need to know what you guys have or what is a good kind to buy.
I could also use ones with microphones attack for games like CS but that is not a must.

Sennheiser PC150 headset is decent stereo phones with mic.. good for games / voice chat etc and ok for music

better for music is like the 400 - 500 - 600 series sennheisers, you want closed ear if you are in same room as you can hear open ear phones a decent ways away at normal volume...

    not so.

sennheiser only above 150. perhaps the HD280pro, but most others in the senn line can be out performed at their price.. Grado SR60, 80 to be precise. Beyerdynamic also makes some great lower end cans.

negative... i've had 6 or so different headsets of many styles including that plantronics, and while its ok, the sennheiser blows it away for sound quality of both the noise-cancelling mic and the headphones.

I'm still debating if I should get those MDR-V700DJ's. I'm at the point I think I've read to many reviews, I need to find some place to give them a try and make a decison. But I'm still open to suggestions. :)

whoa are those new? didn't know they had those... hmmmmmm /me thinks about getting rid of his piece of shit headset for one of those.

i broke my audio .90 by pulling the mic out too far which seperated the wires :hs:

that big senn looks nice :big grin:

i used some technics headphones the other day, they were AWESOME. Heaps better than my Sennheiser, but they are only the lower quality ones.
