buy the most expensive "gym" bag you can possibly find because without the proper carrier type device your gloves and or chalk and your towel etc may not make it to the gym in decent condition causing the world to suddenly stop spinning on its axis and fling all of us into space

use a fucking plastic shopping bag if ya gotta what difference does it make?

i have some broken-down duffle bag I bought in the blackmarket-type neighborhood in Buenos Aires. I bought it because I needed one more carry-on bag and spent 3 dollars on it. It says Bejing Olympics on the side. When i went through airport security in Houston this 'uge broly TSA guy asks me if I was coming from training haha. Not everyday that you get mistaken for an olympian.

I need a bag that can double as a travel duffel and one to bring my shit to and from the gym & campus. I don't have one and I would like to spend my money on something quality without spending too much. Fucking shit, give me a break.

You need to mention that in your original post. I bet there are a lot of people who carry plastic bags ... I did for a little while. :mamoru: Buy something cheap and made of viynl. That way you can throw your shirt in the bag after the suana or cardio and be able to easily clean it out.

I have one I use just for the gym, cuz I don't take much... just a change of clothes, couple towels, maybe my shoes. We're not talking 4 days away from home and a toiletry kit here... gym bag would suck for travelling (besides an overnite), and luggage would suck as a gym bag. :dunno:

Why the hell would anyone need a bag that big?

Here is what I bring to the gym:
    -Bottle of water
    -1 towel
-a shirt change if I do a lot of cardio and hit the sauna
    -flip flops for sauna/shower/hot tub
-swim trunks if I want to jump in the pool
-workout plan (1 piece of paper)
-ipod (which doesn't go in the bag unless I swim or shower)
    -lock

That stuff could fit in a small backpack. Unless you are using the pool or shower, you won't need half of it.

(I leave the basketball in my car incase I want to use it)

There are things called lockers which allow the user not to carry around all their equipment...

i had been using my school bag but since my new school has a way bigger campus I don't want the extra weight on my shoulders, so I am using my backpack for the gym and using a messenger bag for school.....messenger bag > backpack unless you have a shitload of books to carry at once.

You can get a bag designed for ruuners/triathletes. Something that has a shoe or split compartment in the bottom so you can keep your gym stuff seperate from your regular clothes and books. Then you still only have one bag to carry but everything you need.
