I bought my 88' Firebird in Canada, it had a 305 H.O. with T.P.I in it with a 5 speed manual trans yet it had the GTA body styling although all the gauges were not electronic like in the GTA. Anyway I just droped an 88' 350 into it and switched over the T.P.I and kept the same trans although I did do a custom clutch upgrade. So I was wondering is my engine now the same as an LT1 or is it something else? I'm a bit new to all this stuff, and I had my uncle do most of the work and I just watched and learned.

It came prior to the LT1/LT4 and then the LS1.

Is there a website that tells the major differences between each of these engines, or can you sum them up for me?
