    Ortho? tldr

I injured my shoulder (sprain or tear) lifting about 4 weeks ago. It kind of just happened somehow. I've been doing my same routine for 2 months prior to the injury. The first time it happened, I rested it for about 1 week and lifted again and fucked it up even worse. (I know I am an idiot.)

Anyways, this thursday will be the 3rd week and the shoulder still hurts. The muscle on top of the shoulder blade area burns like hell, specially after laying down on it ie. after sleeping, laying down. I haven't gone to a doctor because I've had back sprains at work and just let it heal and it just heals by itself in about a week.

I'm going to have to go in and see a doctor and possibly get some time off to let this heal. I have most of my mobility on it, it's just my muscle feels like it's on fire almost all the time.

An ortho that specializes in shoulders. Ask your GP whats a good one and ask other doctors also
