I think it's time to retire my optima yellow top (I've had this bitch for almost 6yrs now :eek5: )

I don't want to get some kind of performace battery again, I just don't have the money right now :hsd:

What do you guys use? Diehard, Interstate, (n)Ever Start? :dunno:

I have a stereo in my truck but it's nothing crazy (Soundstorm :mamoru: 500x2, JL e4300 300x4? ) so I don't think I'll have any trouble with a "normal" battery will I? :hsd:

I made this thread in the main forum and got shit for replies

I have a red-top in the truck. But I've used Interstate batteries in everything else. Great batteries, imo.

    Diehard is good, too.

My Red top just started to go bad after a little more than 5 years. 6 years is a good time to replace, just so it doesnt leave you stuck somewhere. I replaced it with another red top. With a weekend sale discount it was only about $110 from the local Sears garage. i think I original payed $130 at PepBoys.

Diehard, Interstate, Exide, local parts house brand... pretty much anything but Champion batteries. Optimas are pretty much a waste of money unless you're doing some pretty hardcore stuff.

AC Delco simply because I needed it urgently, it's sold locally and has a 1 year warranty in all Middle Eastern countries. If it breaks on me in Dubai - I can have it replaced for free.

The amp rating and run time was higher than the stock battery too.
