What keeps you going near the end of a workout?

    For me, it's right before I start the set, I think about fighting in the UFC for the title. I love Chuck but I think about being in there fighting him for his belt. :o

    Works every time. :cool:

    So what's your ultimate motivation when you workout is nearing an end?

    The fear of very soon having a drill instructor screaming in my face to get it done and get it done fast.

    Also, I've gotten into this habit of saying "Get Some..." at the end of every rep. It's a USMC thing I guess.

    Nothing, in particular.. I just keep going until i die. I look at the bigger guys in the gym and tell myself I wanna be that size, so I just pack on more weight onto the bar, cable, whatever and lift.. then when I can't do anymore, I pump out some more reps, drop the weight and keep going.

    nothing. i love the end of my workouts. it's the beginnings that i struggle with.

    what gets me through that is knowing i'll feel a lot better towards the end of my workout :mamoru:

    looks like a lot of people get pissed to motivate themselves. i never thought that was effective.. i like to remain calm, cool, collected. i'm all over the place otherwise.
