It seems like most of the topics posted in this forum are about lifting or supplements and not about cardio so much. I, myself, have not just gone for a run in 6-8 months. Basically I lift and play basketball for cardio and once I am able to run again, I plan on doing a 1.6 mile path around some lakes at my apartment. My goal is to put on as much muscle mass as possible (5 lbs away from my goal of 200 lbs ) but I want to stay as lean as i am now too, so i figure running in addition to bball will help. Back in high school I used to be able to run a sub 5:00 minute mile (usually the high 4minutes). Before I hurt my ankle, I would be lucky to run a 6:45 or 7 minute mile. I can still sprint fast but have no endurance. What is your MOST RECENT mile time?
