    This'll be interesting.............

    http://www.marineofficercandidate.com/PFTcalc.asp

    174 and below = 3rd class
    175 to 224 = 2nd class
    225 and above = 1st class
    285 and above = high 1st class
    300 = perfect

We ran a PFT today at my recruiters office and here is my latest score: 222... 9 pullups, 94 situps, and a 20:48 3 mile run time. I'm curious what everyones score in here would be, especially the guys like timberwolf and whatnot.

I got a 0 because I don't care about how many pullups I can do and...THREE mile run? hahahahahahahaha

I think I'd die after the first 200 yards. But I can do 3 pullups while weighing 290lbs.

you only need 20 pullups and 100 situps to max out the score on those, that would be easy for me.

I'd really have to train for the run though, if i had to do it today i doubt i'd do better than 24-25 minutes

My last army apft (Consists of pushups, situps, and a two mile run) score was 274 (Highest I've gotten is 296) after about 6 months without running or doing a single pushup or situp. Going by that thing my marine score would be like 250.

I'm Nat Guard. I'll be getting plenty of that when I get deployed this summer. Gonna shoot for that 300 that eluded me all through basic. The 20 mile ruck I'm doing tomorrow won't hurt either.

truth.... I have good muscular endurance and my cardio is okay, but running 3 miles is too much... I think I couldn't do more than 1 in my current state.

What kind of pullups ? Arms wide and palms facing away or close-grip and palms facing you ? What kind of situps ? Crunches ?

Based on wide pulls and crunches, I'd say my score is around 200: running that 4.8km would KILL ME though...

Palms can be facing toward you or away, your choice, and it's also your choice where your hands are on the bar

Any grip you want as long as your palms are facing the same direction.

And the situps you cross your arms over your chest holding your biceps with the opposite hand and go up until your elbows hit your thighs.

    ~290

I can easily do 30 pullups without breaking a sweat, can do about 90-120 sit ups
in 2 min, and run a mile in high 4's
