I do 50x10 db or 160x10 bb.
yes I know I am weak.
BB = 150x1
DB = 100's x 12ish
BB = 315x1
DB = 80x5
I flair my elbows out on the DBs and it seems to hit my pecs better. Could do lot more if I tuck it.

Which do you like better? I feel alot more sore doing db than bb. Probably because I don't have a spotter and get freaked out and don't push myself to failure on bb.

i never start my workout with dbs so it's hard to compare. this past tues i did a set of 225, 245, then 255 on flat (12x12x10), then used 100s for 10-12 on incline bench
sometimes I hate f&n.
No preference. I try to use both.
Don't worry about Lance (jmezz). He's just taking his anger of hitting double digit bf out on fn.
Not sure what my BB bench is but it's weak. DB's I have done the 80's x 6 but that was doing stupid style where you rotate the DBs so that the end of the rep looks like the end of a pec fly... I don't go heavy on those anymore, but if I did a DB bench with regular form I could probably do a little more

it always cracks me up when little fucks are like I DB BENCH THE 180's FOR 100 REPS and then their barbell bench is like 205. Of course a lot of people do DB's with a halfass range of motion or cheat the shit out of them so its a pretty worthless comparison.
In summary, if you care about what your bb vs db bench is, you're gay.

most ive put up on the BB was 275
i can only fit 110 lbs on my DBs, which is a pain in the dick. but i got them up 5-6 times at least from what i can remember. i have oly dumbells and not that many dimes/quarters so i end up with a string of 5s and 2.5s on the end, then those weights you attach to your arms hanging off the end of the collars
35 db, 105 bb
DB: 120x6 or 100x 12ish
I think that's about right. Its a shame though the gym closest to my house only has 100lb dumbbells.
people do half-ass ROM with BB bench too.
I like DB bench better because I can actually get a more natural range of motion vs the BB because you can dynamically re-adjust your arms. With the BB you're stuck with your initial hand location.

Hmm this is actually kind of interesting. What do you guys think is the better exercise?
I prefer db, I like the range of motion (db hitting chest) and I cant compensate for my left arm with my right.
