    What do you do?

Just interested for the entertainment or do you do any training?
Maybe you set foot inside a ring before?

I was a brown belt in Karate before I broke my shoulder, hand, and hurt my knee pretty good.

    Now I do jiu-jitsu.

By day I'm a mild mannered white collar dude who sits at a desk.

3.5 years of TKD in college.

Took a break from martial arts for a couple years.

Another 3 years or so after college.

Moved away from my school to yuppie hell and couldn't find a school that didn't cater to kids, so took another break.

A couple years later, started in Minami-Ryu Ju Jitsu. Did that for about a year. Went to a Carlos Machado Affiliate and trained in BJJ for a year and a half, with about 8 months of Hapkido thrown in until my daughter was born. The main instructor there retired from teaching MA, so I went back to the Minami-Ryu instructor for 6 months. During the 18 months I wasn't training with him, he added some Thai kickboxing and no-gi grappling/striking to his curriculum, so I did a mixture of things there. (gi grappling, no-gi grappling, Thai kickboxing, judo, standup ju jitsu)

Currently not training because of a shoulder issue I hope to get resolved soon.

Been a MMA fan since watching Royce in his glory days during the Gracie Jiu Jitsu infomercial era of the UFC.
