What do you use for plinking? What do you use for self defense?

For my 9mm Glocks I just buy whatever is the cheapest for plinking...usually UMC or WWB.
    Self Defense: Federal HST 147gr

Looking for recommendations for the best .223/5.56 load for a Bushmaster AR-15 (1:9 twist) and the best 12ga load for a Remington 870 for self-defense.

  2. Do you reload?

Nope...maybe some day I'll get into that, but for now I just buy everything.

Reloads for my 9mm Block 19
124 p+ HST in it right now but I'm almost out so once I shoot these up it'll be the 147gr stash. 124gr p+ just about chopped a rabbit in half the other weekend.

I use whatever is cheapest for 9mm practice, with Speed Gold Dot +P for defense. In the AR, I use whatever is decent and cheap, which right now is PMC.
