im turning 21 in 10 days and im considering this for my first handgun. Any better alternatives out there smaller than a .45 but bigger than a 9mm?

I would highly recommend the H&K though, I have Glock, Sig, Ruger, S&W, Colt, and the H&K is by far the best.

s&w .500 snubnose is great for a first timer...really small gun, 4" barrel...also good for concealed carry..ammo is cheap, too.. go get one.

Shot a USP compact .40 today. Loved it, but the pricetag is WAY too high. For my money, I'll stick with my SP2022.

Whats the point spending an extra $20-30 everytime you go to the range? I can get WWB 9mm for $12 for 100...how much is it for 100 .45? Worth enough to say you have a .45 for plinking? didnt think so
