What is the proper protein intake? v.6'1" Male

    I am losing weight. Caloric intake is 2600, 1 hour in the gym doing either cardio or lifting.

    Non broly advice please. I want to be fit, not Swedish.

    1-1.5 per lb of LBM is a good starting point.

    I weigh 214 with about 27% body fat (fatass - that's the point of this thread).

    So that's what, over 160 g protein /day? That seems like....a lot?

    Just imagine 2 scoops of whey each shake...it adds up.

    I'm 6'4" and try to aim for 150-200g protein per day. I'm still only 190 but that's because I don't eat enough calories (between 2200 and 2700, sometimes more), but my protein level is good.

    I can reach 160g from food only on a diet consisting of the cals listed above...

    The whey I have reccomends 2 scoops per shake at 27g per scoop. Two of those per day added to your food intake will be more than enough.

    I'm also crackalackin protein farts that could kill too :eek3:

    Protein farts and shits are deadly.. I'll be happy when I'll lower my proteine intake from 200g/day(I'm 175 pounds and cutting) to around 100-150 :hs:

    That's a lot of calories just from taking the protein shakes.. If you are cutting, how are you suppose to stay not not hungry if a lot of your calories come from your shakes.
