Wide like a power lifter? Box Squat style? Narrow like a hack squat?

Whatever suits your leverages. Long as your general form is okay and you're getting at least to parallel...you're fine. Some are more comfortable squatting wide, others close stance.
This and whatever feels most natural to the person. It's a natural movement and just like genetics it will be different for all depending on how you grew.
honestly i think a combination of squats is best to use , you dont have to use just 1 type because different types emphasize different muscles.
wide low box squats are very difficult especially a couple inches below parallel (i found these hit the posterior chain really well), close stance ass to grass are great for the quads, etc.
just make sure to drive your heels into the ground on your way up

If you are not a powerlifter as deep as you can go without compromising your lower back.

Main thing I was told was keeping your knees behind or inline with your toes. Since I started doing that, I can't get much further than parallel any more.
Thin board under my heels has been helping as well.
While we're on squats, I only do regular squats, should I mix it up with some front squats or hack squats every now and again? What are the benefits of those?

The vast majority of individuals will never be able to squat like elite OL lifters. For example, deadbolt, none of your squat videos are near the depth of OL squats. Not really even close.
Below parallel is enough for 99.9% of the populations goals.
You don't have to worry about keeping your knees behind your toes. Just make sure you are keeping your back straight.

youve seen one squat video. which is old now. theyve improved since. break parallel easy. im not saying you have to mimic them, just try to squat that style that deep
Well the issue is that if you try to squat "that deep" most people just can't do it.. and will really never be able to do it without severely rounding their back. Glen Pendlay who is an Olympic Coach has said many times the general person doesn't need to ever squat as deep as a competitive OL. It really just doesn't serve much of a purpose. They squat that deep to help them catch cleans.. for your everyday person, simply getting below parallel is great.
OL squats are a beautiful thing I just dont think many people esp. your average joe will ever get to that kinda depth without looking like a scared shitless cat.
