I am a lil interested in what people have in their collections :wiggle: I haven't really added anything new in the past 3-4 years, but I am sure I will start again when I finally start up a career after grad school.

But back to the post, what is your most valuable comic in your collection? I will make it two-fold: (1) Most valuable in terms of value ($$$) (2) most valuable in terms of sentimental value (your fav read, issue you read 80ty billion times over, etc...)

    $ Value:

I have this issue in VF- to VF+ shape. It was actually my 1st ever thing I ever bought off eBay. I got it for $50 maybe 6 years ago. Think that was a good buy on my part :bigthumb:

    Honorable mentions:

    ASM #121 in NM- shape

    Sentimental value:

I remember this as one of the best and touching comic stories I ever read.

    Honarable mention:

Any of the old Valiant Nintendo comics. I must have read and re-read these a ton of times back in the day.

    So keep em' coming :wavey:

god...HATE YOU! that's the one issue of ASM i really, really wouldn't mind shelling out some money for.

i don't really have a single comic that's over $50, but i do have a MN first print of Invincible #1.

My favorite one would have to be Ultimate Spider-man #1 (both of them) in NM.

no pics... my most valuable $$ wise and sentimental wise is probably a handsigned Spawn vs. Batman (Image version) ... signed only by Todd McFarlane in a gold paint pen across the bottom of the cover that reads also 0001/0001 ... was done at the Spiders Web in Pyuallup Washington the day after it was released, he was visiting his wife's brother's comic shop :noes: have a few photo's of him signing it framed with it... no certificate of authenticity, no need :)

honorable mention nets me the signed Spawn 1-14 with certs, and a slew of random Todd McFarlane spidey's and crossovers.

most valuable collection overall however is the full original run of Wetworx :hs:

Most valuable $ wise, I haven't a clue (I refuse to price them as I don't ever plan to sell them) The most I've shelled out is $20 bucks, and I don't think it's worth that much anymore :hs:

Most valuable for sentimental reasons would be the Judas Contract run in the Titans. That is the story which introduced me to my favorite team ever waaaay back when. I had to go collect all the back issues (hence my $20 bucks on issue #1) which is something I had never done before.

My most $$ wise is probably Avengers #4, when Cap first joined them.
Sentimental would be Walking Dead #1.

personally valuable are either my 1st appearance of the Guardians of the Galaxy or my WildC.A.T.s #1 gold/embossed cover.

Dont have the pic of the gold cover anymore, but here is the Guardians.

I remember reading about those in Wizard back in the day. Did they come in any type of protective cover or something?

I could not tell you. I have them in a foot locker. I have no ideas about the number of prints of issues, but I have all the ones that Marvel put out.
