I remember a while back seeing some pictures taken on a leica that takes funky pictures on purpose. What is that cameras model?

Leica's give a bit of a glow to some images. Its kind of hard to explain, I sometimes wonder if only some people can see it...

    Test the camera.

    They are all unique.

    Most have light leaks.
Some of these leaks you may not want, so you might have to tape up the camera to stop the light getting in.

Oh ok thanks, I thought it uses telepathy.

Well I am the new owner of 2 Holga 120N cameras. They are on their way with 6x6 and 6x4.5, neck straps and 120mm film. What are the 6x6 or 6x4.5 pieces?

masking frames you put in the camera. if you want a 6x6cm square negative, use it. if you want a 6x4.5cm negative, use that one. or you can use none at all.

and lol @ confusing leica with holga

browse a holga group on flickr.com to see examples of 6x6 and 6x4.5 formats

and I recommend using iso400 film, holgas need a lot of light. if I shoot with color positive 100 speed film, I almost always have to push process it one or two steps (so its the equivalent of 200 or 400), unless its a really bright and clear day.

Good tips thank you. I can't imagine how I confused holga with leica!
I am just toying with this so I will have a local drug store develop these onto CD's. Then I will post up the results. I am excited for them to get here. I will try it all and even fit some 35mm in there and let you guys know.
